Respect before recognition.
Listen to the people a project is meant to serve. Give with dignity and keep their needs at the centre of the work.

For me, leadership includes a responsibility to show up for the people around us. Through JCI Alor Setar, I take part in a shared effort to bring people, resources and practical support closer to the community.
Behind every community project are people giving their time, partners contributing what they can, and a team turning good intentions into practical work. Whether sharing essential supplies, creating a shared experience or building local relationships, the purpose is to contribute with care.
As the 2026 Local President of JCI Alor Setar, I am proud to serve alongside our members, volunteers and supporters. The work belongs to that collective effort. My role is to help bring people together, turn plans into action and keep the community at the centre of the conversation.
That same principle shapes my approach to AI training: knowledge becomes useful when people can apply it. In business and in service, I believe progress should help people participate, contribute and move forward.

JCI Alor Setar brought 50 children from Fungates Foundation to the cinema for a shared movie experience. Beyond the screening, the outing was about making time for the children — sharing an experience, offering companionship and creating space for connection. It reflects a simple belief: community care includes the moments of joy we make room for together.

JCI Alor Setar co-hosted this blood donation campaign with fellow NGOs, including Lions Club of Alor Setar Host. By bringing together volunteers, donors and community partners, we worked towards a shared purpose: supporting blood donation and encouraging more people to give. It is a reminder that meaningful community service grows stronger when organisations contribute together.

If your business or organisation would like to explore community support, volunteering or an accessible learning initiative, tell me who you hope to serve and what you want to contribute. We can discuss whether there is a suitable way to collaborate.
