Follow the steps
- Describe the decision and list the money, time and people involved. Separate facts from assumptions.
- Ask the prompt below in your preferred AI tool. Treat the response as a challenge to examine, not expert approval.
- Find evidence for the most important uncertain assumption by talking to customers or running a small pilot.
- Write a decision note with a maximum budget, deadline and stop condition. Revisit it after the test.
Your copy-and-use prompt
Replace the bracketed fields with your own details.
Stress-test this business idea: [idea]. Facts: [facts]. Assumptions: [assumptions]. Resources: [limits]. Give the strongest case for and against it, three failure modes, missing evidence and one inexpensive validation test. Define a go/no-go rule. Do not invent market statistics or guarantee returns.
Try it yourself
Assess a proposed weekend AI workshop using a small pre-registration test before paying for a venue.
Check your result
The next step should gather evidence. Multiple AI opinions are not independent market validation.
